Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is a place for?movies, special presentations & programs, creative and delicious food made from our scratch kitchen with amazing beer, cocktails, shakes, and beverages of all sorts, all under one roof!The Venue?Manager is a brand representative who reinforces the company goals, values and mission statement while ensuring Alamo Drafthouse Cinema?s standards of quality and service are accomplished. They are also responsible for the efficient and profitable execution of the venue.?DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensures that ALL GUESTS have an AWESOME EXPERIENCE, and are EXCITED to come back.Manages entire operations of venue, which includes daily decision-making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, kitchen operations, P, cost controls/management, inventory regulation, building sales, community involvement, all safety and security standards including food handling requirements, profitability expectations and effective planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanlinessMaintains ability to multi-task and adapt to changing prioritiesExercises good judgment and effective decision-makingProvides effective coaching and delegation to management team with timely follow upMaintains staffing at standard labor ratios and ensures the venue is properly staffed to par, at all timesPlans accordingly and proactively hires to seasonal parsCoaches staff and managers according to operational and procedural needs, maintaining high standards and following up on specific direction providedQUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experienceTwo (2) years minimum Management experience and knowledge of total operations (previous theater management is beneficial)ServSafe Certification, and all local/state required certifications.Proven leadership and motivational skillsDisplays a professional appearance and is a positive role model within the restaurant and corporate officeStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong ability to multi-task projects simultaneouslyHolds self and others accountable to consistently maintain high performance standardsExpected work week of 50 hours minimum; higher volume seasons and heavier work weeks are expectedBasic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) and office skills requiredWORKING CONDITIONS: Work is typically performed in the venue. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
