This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis, IN for a Global Supply Chain Intern.

The Global Supply Chain Intern will gain exposure and experience in:

* The supervision of a medium to large group of employees involved in supply chain operations.
* The planning and scheduling of component material to ensure on time availability to meet production and service schedules, while optimizing inventory levels.


* Learn to supervise a medium to large group of UAW employees; comply with terms of local and national agreements.
* Coordinate material and production mix requirements to meet production schedules.
* Expedite the movement of raw material, in-process and/or finished goods.
* Maintain safety and good housekeeping standards.
* Coordinate and cooperate with other departments to meet production schedules.
* Maintain accurate inventory records.
* Train, develop, and evaluate employees.
* Have frequent contact with others outside the work group.
* Meet budgeted cost targets.
* Execute quality requirements.
* Other duties as assigned.


* Education Requirement: College undergraduate or graduate status with 1-3 years at an accredited college or university, pursuing an academic field of study related to Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or Management.
* Required Experience:

o Strong oral and written communication skills are required.

o Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

o Analytical ability to solve complex problems.

* Due to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Intern must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident.
