Job Description SummaryReporting to the Director of Management Controls the Senior Manager ?? Management Controls, is responsible for measuring and reporting quality performance for BDX. The Senior Manager, Management Controls is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to efficiently capture data and perform analytics on Quality Metrics. The Senior Manager, Management Controls is responsible for the Management Review process including owning Executive Management Review. Through outstanding communication; effective problem solving and active management of ambiguous situations; Senior Manager, Management Controls ensures that initiatives are executed and completed successfully.Job DescriptionResponsible for developing Executive Management Review including the data and information for the harmonized process for CQRB and Board of Directors ReportingOwn the process for Management Review for BDXDevelop and implement Quality Data Analytics strategyStreamline and standardize data collection channels across BDXSupport Quality Process owners in the development of dashboards and data collectionManage the metrics team responsible for creating dashboardsInterface with corporate IT teams to ensure dashboard and system implementationAdditional Responsibilities:Understand the current reporting mechanisms and partner with key representatives to identify the improvements and implement streamlined processes for BDXProactively engage and communicate with Quality Leadership and Cross Functional Leadership on issuesContinuously improve the management review process working collaboratively with the Management Review NetworkBuild strong relationships and partner with business leaders, Regions, Functional and Technical Stakeholders to build trust and influence at multiple levels within the organization. Respond effectively in a dynamic environment.Work across business units, regions, and functions to deliver key Quality projects Typically requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in science, engineering or other relevant discipline with a minimum of 6 years with relevant experience.Qualifications, Knowledge, skills, and abilities:Knowledge of Quality Processes including Quality Systems, Design, Manufacturing and Distribution QualityUnderstanding of Quality Data and experience in Quality Data AnalyticsDemonstrated end-to-end business process thinking; knowledge of present or ??as is? processes and ability to lead improvements that will constitute a desired ??future state?Understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and GAMP 5Customer centric focus and global orientationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working within a complex virtual team environment and leading project activitiesExperience in projects accountable for leading changeDemonstrated understanding of change management and the tools used to effectively embed change in the organization)Skills:Ability to lead teams and drive for resultsAbility to successfully interface with all levels of the organizationStrong business acumenStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes and gain team member and stakeholder buy inExcellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, listening and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of Project Management principles and methodology (including Agile framework)Becton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
