We are currentlyseeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join Executive Chef Kyle Knall s (Formerly of Gramercy Tavern and Maysville) culinary team at Electric Lemon at Hudson Yards in partnership with the Equinox Hotel, where Chef Knall s menu will focus on health-conscious cuisine that puts flavor at the forefront.

The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic and values. A passion for local ingredients treated with simplicity and respect and desire to cultivate relationships with farmers and purveyors in the surrounding communities.

Desired Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a culinary-driven, well-rated restaurant
  • Prior success in running expo and working all stations in a busy kitchen
  • Strong administrative skills and prior experience managing scheduling
  • Prior experience training and mentoring a diverse hourly line cook team
  • Ability to drive performance and results of a diverse culinary workforce
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree from a culinary school/university preferred
