SUMMARY

Oversee all front desk operations. Assures guest satisfaction with room amenities and service. Resolve guest complaints in an efficient manner by performing the following duties. This position reports to the Rooms Division Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance with all CFI policies and procedures

Represents Westgate Resorts in a professional manner at all times

Resolve guest complaints

Oversee all facets of front desk operation

Maintain operational budget

Oversee training and development of personnel

Takes care of all emergency situations on property

Act as manager on duty for the resort

Review nightly audit to ensure accuracy

Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in the Front Desk, PBX, and Night Audit. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
